COMO Laucala Island is a private Fijian paradise surrounded by a vibrant reef, offering world-class diving and snorkeling. The island is rich with forests, flowers, and healing plants, where guests encounter land crabs, butterflies, and birds. The resort features 25 sea-facing residences along a 22 km walking trail, designed to capture the essence of Fijian culture with thatched roofs, local timber, and traditional coconut husk weaving. 


Dining at the resort is a celebration of health and sustainability, with five restaurants offering COMO Shambhala wellness options. The island has its own farms and works with local growers to provide fresh ingredients. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, from hiking and mountain biking to swimming with horses in the ocean. The island's lush trails wind through banyans, wild gingers, and rare hardwoods, while its thriving marine life offers over 50 dive sites nearby. 


The COMO Shambhala Retreat is nestled in the island’s heart, offering body treatments using natural elements like river stones and volcanic soil. The spa is led by experienced Fijian therapists, preserving an intuitive healing philosophy. For a seamless arrival, guests have access to a private lounge at Nadi International Airport, with the option to fly directly to Laucala Island, including customs and immigration services, at an additional cost.

At COMO Laucala Island, the dining experience is rooted in core values of health, wellbeing, and self-sustainability. The menus feature COMO Shambhala options that prioritize flavor, nutrition, and low fats and refined sugars. The resort emphasizes farm-to-table practices by growing fruits and vegetables, breeding poultry and cattle, and bottling its own honey and volcanic mineral water, ensuring that these fresh ingredients are incorporated into all restaurant and bar offerings. Every stay includes dining and beverages, except for premium selections from the resort's exquisite wine cellar. 


  • Plantation House: Set in a classic plantation home, this fine dining restaurant offers a curated selection of specialty wines, including older vintages and New World options.

The Location

COMO Laucala Island in Fiji is a 12-square-kilometer private island located in Melanesia. It’s accessible via a 55-minute private air charter from Nadi International Airport. The island has its own airstrip and offers seamless transfers on resort-owned planes. Guests arriving at Nadi can enjoy the resort's private lounge, complete with refreshments and personalized assistance. International arrivals can fly directly to Laucala at an additional cost, which covers customs and immigration.
